Christmas shopping greedy and indulgent or a bit of fun?

I don't know about you but I'm a bit of a shopaholic.  I don't need to spend a lot, for me a trip to the shops is escapism, it's more the fun of the hunt than the little items to covet when I get home.  Of course shopping for Christmas should be a wonderful thing for me, however it's becoming a chore.  Yes, yes, okay I'm crazy starting this early but I thought it might spread the financial burden and give me a chance to grab a few cool items before they disappear from the shelves in the usual Christmas rush.  Truth is I'm already stuck for ideas.  What the heck do you by for the modern man or women who has everything?

We are lucky indeed to have all the consumables we can grab.  I sit surrounded by electrical items, I need no more tools or toys, just time to enjoy it all.

I'm so lucky and honoured to be born in a country like England.  Okay some of it is a bit shitty but I have use of  the health service, the warmth of a home, pretty things no human will ever need and yet in other countries it's a whole different ball game. I have food on my table and the biggest panic I can remember was a shortage of sugar in the 1970.  Are we spoilt, greedy or blessed.  Makes you think doesn't it!!

I'm sure you have all been here

This is my first blog in a very long time.  I used to be a bit of a fan of yahoo 360 until it started behaving like a bad child and constantly posting blogs from 6 months previously.  I'm hoping this is going to be a little better.  I miss blabbing away for no good reason, or putting the world right.  I'm trying to figure out how it all works so this first blog may be somewhat on the thin side.

Anyway I'd love it if you stopped by and said hello.  I am aware I have bugger all to say today but who  knows what tomorrow will bring.
